PROGRAM PLANNER
We are currently hiring a Program Planner to join our leadership team. This full-time, salaried position is integral to our organization, serving as the “face” of PEEC for all groups planning an experience at our center. The Program Planner serves as the primary liaison for schools and other organizations prior to their trip to ensure every aspect of the PEEC experience, from education, to dining services and lodging, meets group needs and expectations.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR
We are accepting applications for the 2024 Season! PEEC Instructors will offer lessons and activities addressing a wide range of topics relating to natural history and ecology, environmental issues, outdoor living skills, teamwork, and communication. EDUCATION INTERNS
PEEC offers limited opportunities for summer internships or summer positions for recent college graduates. These individuals will learn core lessons in natural history and ecology, environmental issues, outdoor living skills, teamwork, and communication prior to their work with our summer camp programming. We seek highly motivated individuals that excel in fast-paced, dynamic work settings. College credit and other internship collaborations are welcomed for credit in this position.

SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR
PEEC Summer Camp Counselors are the perfect way for young, passionate high school graduates to get their first taste of the environmental education field through working summer day camps. Positions begin in June.

VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COUNSELOR
This program is for youth between ages 14 and 17 with a strong interest in working with children in nature.
Volunteer Assistant Counselors help care of those children enrolled in summer camp. PEEC’s Junior Counselors provide leadership in program activities, are an appropriate role model, and aid in all aspects of the program. They are crucial in adding energy and enthusiasm to the program, while meeting the daily needs of children.
