Active Adventures: Find Your Path to WellnessIntroduction to Tai Chi and QiGongTai Chi is an ancient Chinese internal martial art, excellent for improving physical health and mental awareness. Tai Chi can be thought of as self-defense against the stresses of modern life. QiGong is a gentle and low impact form of exercise appropriate for anyone. Learn some movements emphasizing posture, connecting our body and mind, and calming down our minds. Learn the basics of these ancient forms! Join teacher Richie Roach, who has been in charge of the QiGong and Tai Chi program at Deerfield Spa for 17 years.Free – Funding for Active Adventures is provided by the National Park Foundation.
