No leaves, no problem! Learn how to identify trees by leaf scars, bundle scars, buds, and bark.
Our program will consist of a basic dendrology lesson to acquaint us with the identifying features we will want to consider to confidently identify a tree and the terms we can use to describe these features. We’ll then go for a walk and practice using a tree key to identify the trees around us. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to identify trees anywhere you go!
